A native Texan, Linda is currently a full-time practicing artist. In 2010 Linda resigned her position of 12 years as faculty and Visual Art Department Chair at Ursuline Academy of Dallas where she also served on Ursuline Academy's first Global Education Task Force. She was instrumental in the development of cross-curricular education with a global focus at the school and co-designed Ursuline's first team-taught course in which students could receive dual credit in both fine art and senior level English; Latin America through Art and Literature. Prior to her last position, she taught painting, drawing and design at The University of North Texas in Denton and Brookhaven College in Dallas. She is involved in the north Texas community as a frequent lecturer, presenter, and juror and serves on the Public Arts Council of Flower Mound. McCall received her BFA at Southern Methodist University and MFA at The University of North Texas; and also studied art in Italy with Pratt Art Institute of NY. Her work has been included in numerous exhibitions including the Critic's Choice exhibition at the Dallas Center for Contemporary Art. She is represented by Craighead-Green Gallery in Dallas, TX.
